Another beautiful
winter day in
Michigan - but I'll
take the blue
skies no matter
how low the
thermometer
reads!!
Above:
Not many vehicles have
been in since the last snow,
but these tracks are from a
four wheeler who took
advantage of the wintery
weather and wide open
acreage to have some fun.
Above you can see the doorways have
all been boarded over ~ or "doored" over
~ in an attempt to keep out the weather.
This is the door at the NW corner,
below, the main doors are sealed.
I don't think it would have been
possible for our building
committee to find a more
beautiful piece of land.  What a
wonderful place to begin our
journey of faith!
This is the first time I've
seen the building without
that gaping hole to allow
the easy access of
equipment in and out.

It kind of finalizes a lot of
the phases of creating a
church from bare land...

Below, it's obvious that the
mud remains a problem, at
least for the exterior.
Mud pies!
Mud pies!

Who wants a mud pie?
Breathtaking views of
clean bright white snow,
gentle slopes and dark
trees against the clear,
very blue sky.

Shall we ever get used
to this beauty?

From here, I hear only
birds and silence.

Lovely day!
Why!  It
looks like a
church!

This is the
view from the
east parking
lot behind the
church, and
looking north
toward the
street.
